This is the second half of Boyhood, Vol. II. Our protagonist, Sam Carter, takes a trip to Boston with his Aunt Anne and her husband, Minor Harris; stopping to visit Uncle Lee on their way through Philadelphia. He describes seeing the Red Sox play the White Sox at Fenway. Back in The Plains, he starts a new school and plays football against Episcopal High School, comes down with measles, and then forecasts the path of the rest of his life. One or two of his predictions came true.
